Contract Guard by Jobily ("Contract Guard", "we", "our", or "us") is a browser extension that helps users review contract-like content and generate educational risk summaries. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and your choices.

1. What We Process

• Account information: your email and authentication/session identifiers used to sign in and validate subscription status.
• Contract/page content: text extracted from pages you choose to analyze.
• Analysis output: generated scores, flags, summaries, and related metadata.
• Operational data: extension state and technical logs required for reliability and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide contract analysis features and side panel results.
• Authenticate users and verify subscription access.
• Deliver billing/portal flows through Stripe.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

3. AI Processing and Legal Disclaimer

Contract Guard uses AI to generate educational business-risk insights. Contract Guard is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. You should consult a qualified attorney before signing or relying on any contract.

4. Data Storage and Privacy Mode

We may store analysis outputs and limited metadata to support product functionality. When Privacy Mode is enabled, contract text retention is reduced according to product behavior, while still allowing core analysis to run.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We share data only with service providers required to operate the product (for example, Supabase for backend infrastructure and Stripe for billing), under contractual and security controls.

6. Permissions and Browser Access

Contract Guard requests Chrome permissions such as tabs, scripting, storage, and sidePanel to detect contract contexts, read visible page text for analysis, and display results. Restricted browser pages (for example chrome://) are not readable by the extension.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your Choices

• You can uninstall the extension at any time from Chrome.
• You can stop using analysis features whenever you choose.
• You can contact us to request support related to your data.

9. Children's Privacy

Contract Guard is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.
